Goddess Temple, Inc. of Lakewood, Ohio

Meet the Board of Goddess Temple, Inc.

Kathy Curran, President

Kathy Curran

Merry Meet! My name is Kathy Curran and I wear many hats: daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, self-employed bookstore owner, Priestess of the Goddess, witch, wise womyn, certified herbalist, licensed minister and, last but not least, President of the Board of the Goddess Temple.

My dream is to have an abundance of Goddess Temples all over. I have, along with the help of some very dedicated people, been able to establish a Goddess Temple. We follow a Dianic path, welcoming both women and men to our Temple. Our goal is bring back the spirituality of the Divine Feminine.

The Temple holds services for all the Sabbats on the Wheel of the Year and Full Moon Meditations honoring the Goddess.

Please join us in our journey to honor the Goddess with Her Temple!!

Blessed Be!

Linda Kean-Lorman, Vice President

My name is Linda Kean. I am a mom, Reiki Master Teacher, State of Ohio Licensed Minister, Priestess of the Goddess, Nanny, Payroll Clerk, and I am the Vice President of The Goddess Temple. Kathy asked me to help do the paperwork for the not-for-profit status, which we received Dec. 2007! Kathy also asked me to be a part of the board, and I was so tickled when she asked me to be the Vice President. I am thrilled to be working with such a wonderful dedicated group. As a mother of a beautiful teenage girl, I think it is very important, especially in today's world, to show how empowering the Goddess in our lives makes us stronger as a whole society. I want my daughter to grow up knowing that she is strong, beautiful, loving, sweet, and does not have to fit into any molds. I want her to find the many faces of the Goddess within her and use them to help her conquer all the mountains in her life. I think the Goddess can help everyone of us in this way.

I think one thing I would truly like to accomplish being a board member and a part of this important group is to help educate people on what the Goddess path is truly about. I think people who are seeking the Divine Feminine need a place for spiritual worship. A place where the Goddess is respected, loved, and remembered for what She truly is. The Goddess has many names and many faces. She is just, kind, caring, loving, and treats us all as her children. I think we need to have a safe place to honor Her. I think with more education about the true spiritual worship of the Goddess, the more people will begin to respect and understand the importance of our Goddess Temple.

Gini Judd, Co-Secretary

Gini Judd

Co-secretary Gini Judd lives only in states that begin with vowels: she grew up in Oregon, lived for 20 years in Alaska, and moved here to Ohio in 2001.  She has followed the Goddess for over a decade.  She is about as Taurus as a person can be without actually sprouting horns.  She is an attorney specializing primarily in bankruptcy law, because she believes in hearth and home and wants to help people keep theirs.  Sometimes she feels a bit like Don Quixote, tilting against the windmills of Countrywide and Citifinancial.  Those are the days when she retreats to the meditation room and sprawls under the pyramid for a while.

Merry Meet!

I am the store's Resident Artist. My paintings have been on display and for sale at the store for the last 4+ years. I have been the featured artist in Lakewood's Madison Art Walk here at the store as well. While art is my passion I have found over the years a need and a talent for healing through alternative methods. Reiki is a widely accepted form of healing therapy and I am proud to be a part of this ancient and beautiful tradition.

I am a certified Reiki Master and a state of Ohio Licensed Minister. I received my Master attunements by Steve Reszler in 2008.

I have been giving tarot readings for friends and family for the last 6 years with such great result that I decided to give fortune card and Native American Medicine card readings at the store; by appointment only.

I am also a Board member of our growing Goddess Temple; I am secretary and a proud member hoping to one day have a temple to call home!

Steve Reszler, Treasurer

Steve Reszler

Merry Meet. My name is Steve; some of you may know me as Sangria Steve. I have lived in the Cleveland area all my life. I grew up in Lakewood during my younger years and have since returned 8 years ago. I have always been spiritual in my own way and up until a few years ago I had no idea others were practicing what I felt in my heart but couldn't put to words. I am so grateful to the Goddess for leading me to such a great group of like-minded people, people who I consider my second family.

I am a practicing Wiccan priest and an ordained minister through ULC. I am also a Usui trained Reiki Master Teacher and have been practicing and teaching at Goddess Blessed for two years. I also enjoy motorcycling, distance running, drumming, reading and making a mean sangria. I have been involved with the Goddess Temple since its inception and am honored to be named its Treasurer. I look forward to continuing to further the Temple's growth and helping to achieve its mission statement.
